On Saturday December 20 German TV station SWR will broadcast a report on the anniversary gig and the Warlock figure. The show is called DASDING.tv and there will be a portrait on the designer who created the Warlock, statements of DORO and some exclusive live footage of the gig. Dear fans, friends and visitors oft he Doro Concert on Dec 13th, 2008 at the ISS Dome Düsseldorf,

We want to thank you for your attendance and the great atmosphere during the concert. All involved parties have given everything to reach the best possible result.

Unfortunately after the start of the show we got told, that cause by a computer mistake a view tickets were sold and contained a seat reservation – instead all tickets for the seating area were free of choice.

Within the circumstance we gave information via the video walls and Sabina Classen of Holy Moses was so kind to inform the audience personally from stage.

This happened in agreement with the Management of the ISS Dome and the Security and we tried with this information to reach all involved people as good as possible.

We offered as compensation to each ticketowner with irregular seatnumber a cost free embroidered patch to get picked up at the merchandise booth. By the number of patches we can see that ca. 95% of the relevant people have accepted the offer.

We are absolutely sorry for our mistake, by our best efforts we couldn`t find any better solution during the concert.

It would be great if this incredible night would stay in your memory.

More than 8,000 Fans from all over the world, a more than 3 hours set full of musical highlights, a fantastic stage, great guests and a rocking After Show party that’s how you can sum up last nights anniversary show in the ISS Dome, Düsseldorf. Our Metal Queen really rocked the Dome and she played one of her best shows ever. But not only did the Fans go wild, all the guest musicians (a.o. Tarja Turunen, Sabina Classen, Bobby Blitz, Warrel Dane, Girlschool, Axel Rudi Pell to name but a few) admired DORO for her powerful show as well. “DORO really is the Queen of Metal,” said Scorpions singer Klaus Meine. He entered the stage to perform two duets with DORO on Rock You Like A Hurricane and Big City Nights. His friend and band member Rudolf Schenker said: “I think the secret of DOROs success is that she loves her Fans so much and that she loves them and her music very, very much. DORO is really down to earth, she lives for her music – you can feel that.” DOROs friend and boxing world champion Regina Halmich opened the night with a nice speech. Later on she said: ”It was a fantastic night. DORO really deserved such a fantastic night and I’m happy the concert was a success. She is such a lovely and honest person. I’m really happy for her and I’m glad she was able to celebrate this special night in her hometown like she dreamed she would.” And what about the birthday girl? She was really exhausted after the concert but she was also very, very happy: "That’s just the way I wished the concert would be like. It was the longest, greatest and best show we’ve ever played. I would like to thank everybody for coming and for making it such a wonderful night. Most of all, I would like to thank my loyal Fans for all their love and support!".

On Saturday we are going to celebrate DORO's 25th stage anniversary in the ISS Dome, Düsseldorf. Shortly before the event we are bringing you an update on the show and some information on the ISS Dome. Please not that this is just a temporary update and that it is subject to change. The party starts at 2 pm on Saturday when the doors to the exclusive Metal Market open. As a visitor of the an niversary show the entrance to the market is free. At around 4 pm the ISS Dome opens its doors and at around 5 pm the show begins. Holy Moses will be the first band on stage and they will rock the Dome for you. At around 5:50 Leave's Eyes will present their new album live and exclusively on stage. After that Arch Enemy will enter the stage (around 6:50) to warm you up for the Metal Queen of the world. DORO will enter the stage at around 8:15 pm and she will really take you by surprise again. She will play her hymns and her finest ballads for you and lots of guest musicians will join her on stage to celebrate with her (Rudolf Schenker and Klaus Meine of German Rock legends Scorpions will be among them.

Parking:
There are parking lots at the ISS Dome parking garage. The garage is open from 2 pm to two hours after the show.

Box office:
You can buy tickets for the show at the box office, of course. The office opens at 3 pm.

Local traffic:
Your ticket to the show includes a ticket for the bus and the tram. The bus stops at “D-Unterrath S' and 'D-Rath S' to take you to the ISS DOME. The shuttle bus between the stops 'Düsseldorf-Unterrath S' and 'Düsseldorf-Rath S' and the ISS DOME only operates on the days of events held at the ISS DOME. DORO was just in the middle of rehearsing for her upcoming stage anniversary when suddenly the doors to the hall were opened and two men came in. But no one was really angry about the interruption as the two mysterious men brought along a really nice surprise for the Metal Queen. Michael Herd er and his friend Andre Simon (www.simonsbrotkoerbchen.de) showed DORO a special cake with a huge DORO motif Andre had designed for her. “I've known Doro for many, many years and I wanted to give her something really special for her stage anniversary.” Well done!!

The cake will be presented at the After Show party at the ISS Dome. More than 600 VIPs – among them the Scorpions and Boxing Queen Regina Halmich – will be able to taste the sweet surprise then.

But the Fans can also celebrate today: The new single “Herzblut” will be in stores today. It is a great German rock ballad that reminds you of DOROs big hit “Für Immer”.

The title of the upcoming album has been revealed. The new album will be called FEAR NO EVIL and it will be released on January 30th 2009 by DOROs label AFM Records.

There are good news for all Scorpions Fans – Klaus Meine and Rudolf Schenker will visit DORO to celebrate her anniversary with her. They will join her on stage to perform two of their biggest hits with the Metal Queen. „I've known Klaus and Rudolf for many, many years and I'm really very happy that they are coming to my show on December 13. We will perform their song Rock Me Like A Hurricane together – this will surely be great. The second song will be a surprise...“, says DORO. José Mario Martínez Arroyo (Mago De Oz) will also attend the show to sing Man On The Silver Mountain with our Metal Queen.

DORO opened her private picture album for the website of the German magazine Bild Online. She tells you about her best moments in the last 25 years, dating back to her first kiss to her recording sessions with Gene Simmons. The German embassy in Beijing and the German Goethe Institute invited our Metal Queen to China this month. DORO was very happy about the invitation and she was honoured, too. She was asked to represent Germany in China and to play two shows for the Fans there.

The concerts took place in Guangzhou and Beijing and more than 30,000 Rock Fans came to see the German Rock Lady perform live on stage. “The gigs were just awesome. The Fans really partied out during the shows. I wo uld not have expected them to be that much into Metal and my music, especially as these were my first shows in China”, says DORO. But one thing is for sure now: China ROCKS – thanks for the great shows and the warm welcome to all the Fans out there!!

To shorten the time until the new Doro album will be available, our Metal Queen will release her second single “Herzblut” on December, 12, 2008. You can expect a lot of surprises, guys and girls. Besides a German single and album version, DORO recorded the song in 3 other languages – a French version (A Fond Le Coeur), a Spanish version (Te Doy Mi Corazon) and a Portuguese version (Eu Dou-Te O Meu Coração). The good news won't end. Not only did DORO's new single enter the Spanish single charts successfully – DORO also hit the German single charts on position No. #75! Congratulations again.

In it's second week of release DORO's new single “Celebrate” reached the number 5!! in the Spanish top 20. Congratulations to the one and only Metal Queen of the world!

Doro will playing her first ever shows in China coming up in November.  The dates are as follows:

The current issue of the German metal magazine Heavy contains the first part of the DORO history. There is also a tiny concert review of DORO's show at the Magic Circle Festival inside the magazine. The German magazine Rock Hard also contains a tiny story about DORO.

Some more guests have been confirmed for the upcoming anniversary gig on December 13, 2008. DORO will be joined on stage by Udo Dirkschneider, Warrel Dane (Nevermore) and her ex-band members from the 1986 Warlock Line-Up. As soon as there are more news we will keep you posted, of course.

On July 16 DORO and her Fans met in Bochum, Zeche to sing the choir for her new song “Celebrate”. Lots of Fans had come to take part in this unique session. At 8 pm the doors opened and the Fans went inside, anxious what might happen next. A few minutes later DORO arrived and welcomed the Fans. Then she presented some information about the new song and producer Thorsten Sickert explained what the Fans had to do. Each person got a copy of the lyrics and the song was played several times – this way the Fans could learn the words and could already clear their throats and practice the words. After some rehearsals Thorsten started to record the choir. Everybody enjoyed the session and had a great time.

DORO was very satisfied with the results and thanked the Fans for coming and taking part. Lots of photos were taken and the Metal Queen wrote tons of autographs and took time to talk to the Fans. “Celebrate” will be the first single and it will be in stores on October 31, 2008. Then all the guys and girls who sang along with DORO will get a chance to hear their voices on the CD and those of you who couldn't join the session can really look forward to a rocking metal track!!!

On June 23rd Judas Priest played live at Philipshalle Düsseldorf (Germany). You all know that DORO has been a huge Fan of the band for years and so she went to see the show in her hometown. DORO really loved the gig and she partied out a lot with the Fans in front of the stage.

Can you imagine going to a DORO concert and not listening to All We Are or Für Immer?! Would be impossible to see a show without these two tracks, wouldn't it? The Priest Fans would feel exactly the same if their heroes would end a show without having played Breaking The Law, that's for sure. Even Rob Halford must have heard about DOROs great cover version of the Priest hymn because shortly after he had annouced the track, he asked DORO to come on stage and perform it with him. Not only did the Fans go wild and partied out a lot – even DORO rocked the stage and she really enjoyed singing the song with her idol. After the show she had a big smile on her face and everybody could see she was more than happy. “Priest have always been my heroes and I just love their music. The tour we did in 1986 will always be one of my all-time highlights. I'll never forget the great time and fun we had. I was really very happy to be able to do the tour with them. That's why I recorded Breaking The Law in 2004. I wanted to honour this fantastic band. I cannot believe Rob really asked me to come on stage and sing the song with him. Man that was absolutely great. I had a wonderful time and I'm sure the Fans liked it as well. I can't believe it – it's awesome. DORO is back in the studio working on new songs for her upcoming album which will be in stores in 2009. "You can really look forward to some great songs, guys and girls. The first tracks really sound fantastic – they are really rocking, cool, have nice rhythms and melodies and are full of power. We might even release a new single this year, but there's nothing concrete yet" says DORO.

During her last time in America DORO met her former songwriting partner Joey Balin with whom she wrote the great Triumph and Agony and Force Majeure tracks. They decided to write some more songs together and one of these is called Celebrate and DORO wrote the track exclusively for her 25 th stage anniversary in December. Celebrate is a real metal hymn and as such it really needs a great choir. Therefore an exclusive sing-along-session is taking place in Bochum Zeche (Germany) on July 16, 2008 . The new song will be played and recorded there and DORO would love to have her Fans sing the chorus on that track.

Sounds great, doesn't it?! You get the chance to hear the new song before anybody else does and you even get the chance to hear you voice on it every time you play it later on. So if you are free that night and want to join DORO then come along and see us at Zeche Bochum. The session starts at 8 pm and you surely shouldn't miss that if you are in the area.
